Dawson founded Down East Preservation in 2015, fulfilling his dream of preserving and restoring the history he cares so deeply about. Today, Dawson is busier than ever continuing to build a growing team of construction and restoration specialists.

PARTNER

Burton joined Down East Preservation in 2020 as a co-owner. Burton enjoys finding and completing projects that other companies would turn down, bringing a fearless approach to the team. Creating unique and inspiring solutions that amaze our clients is Burton’s specialty.

CMO

Briley joined the Down East Preservation team in 2022, focusing her efforts on marketing our growing company. Briley’s role within the company continues to evolve along with her expertise. In addition, she now manages our design center, client relations, and selections for the Jackson Dairy.

Down East Woodworks Manager

Lucas joined the Down East Preservation team in 2022, bringing his specialized skills in working with reclaimed wood and constructing live edged furniture pieces. Today he manages the day-to-day operations of our new woodshop and team. His focus is placed on custom builds and epoxy work, along with sourcing reclaimed and local materials.

Down East Properties Manager

Gary joined the Down East Preservation team in 2022 with a lifelong background in construction. His management skills are driven with a passion for doing it right – bringing projects to completion on time and on budget. His knowledge, experience, and talent lay the foundation for the custom homes built with Down East Properties.
